The below data represents the major findings from the University Senior Exit Survey conducted by the Drexel University Office of Planning and Institutional Research for the graduating class of 2017 (graduated March to June 2017) based on a 97.6% response rate (565 of 579 graduates).

Employment

  • 59.70% of those polled were employed at graduation
  • 87.50% were employed six months after graduation
  • 28% of graduates are employed by a former co-op employer
  • Respondents reported employment across 35 industries with top three including finance, accounting and marketing
  • $58,423 average starting salary
  • 95% of graduates with employment are working in the United States with top five states being Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and California
