Exploring Business & Leadership
Exploring Business & Leadership (BUSNT180) is a two-day introductory course designed to provide incoming LeBow College of Business freshmen a head start on college by allowing them to explore key business concepts that will prepare them to tackle the coursework ahead.
Students will gain a greater understanding of the challenges that arise while navigating today’s fast-changing business world, learning the basics of business management and strategy, while developing leadership, teamwork, financial analysis, and decision-making skills.
By working through an integrated case study about Comcast, students will research, analyze and recommend strategies to address issues such as innovation and globalization, completing the course with an oral team presentation to business leaders from a variety of backgrounds. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive two credits, which can be used toward a free elective.
When: Thurs. & Fri., Sept. 10 & 11
Cost: $400 for course materials and meals.
BUSN T180 is set to occur on campus at this time. However, if the program has to be cancelled due to the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, a full refund will be issued.
