Graduate Application Requirements
All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Degrees earned abroad will be evaluated and must be deemed equivalent.
The following items are required for admissions consideration:
1. Completed Application
The online application must be completed by the applicant. Supplemental documents such as essays, professional resume and letters of recommendation may be uploaded after submitting the completed online application.
2. Application Fee
An application fee of $65 U.S. is required. Fees are waived if you attend an Open House or Information Session prior to submitting an application. Find an upcoming Open House.
Official transcripts must be provided for each institution attended. Transcripts must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the university seal over the flap. Official transcripts can be sent electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org if the institution uses an e-transcript service.
Please enclose official transcripts (mark sheets and degree certificates) from all colleges/universities attended. If your school issues only one transcript for life, you may send a notarized photocopy, bearing the seal on each page. Please note that any applicant, regardless of program, may be required to provide a transcript evaluation should the Admissions Committee determine it is needed for the application to be reviewed. Applicants are responsible for supplying all necessary documentation required and all necessary fees associated with transcript evaluation services.
4. Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation are required. Professional recommendations are preferred. Request recommendations with your application or through the Discover Drexel Portal after you submit your online application.
5. Standardized Test Scores
GMAT or GRE is acceptable for consideration to graduate programs. GMAT is preferred. Our Admissions Committee prefers a minimum GMAT test score of 570 or above or a combined GRE score of 310 or above. However, admissions decisions are based on the entire application package.
GMAT Waiver Request:
Applicants in designated graduate programs may petition for a GMAT waiver. Please refer to our GMAT waiver policy to determine eligibility.
TOEFL or IELTS is required for applicants who did not earn an undergraduate or graduate degree in the United States. For admission consideration, we look for an overall minimum TOEFL score of 90 (with a 22 or higher in Speaking and Listening). Alternatively, an overall minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.5 in Speaking and Listening).
6. Professional Resume
Applicants can upload their resume as part of the admission application or through the Discover Drexel Portal after you submit your application.
To further aid the Admissions Committee in evaluating your application, you must submit a personal statement of approximately 500 words. This statement should describe in detail your reasons for pursuing a graduate degree from LeBow College, your short-term and long-term career plans, and how your background, experience interests and/or values, when combined with a Drexel graduate degree, will enable you to pursue those goals successfully.
8. I-20/DS-2019 (International Applicants Only)
International applicants must submit I-20/DS-2019 documents after admission and confirmation to the program. Visit drexel.edu/isss to download the I-20 application.
