Drexel LeBow’s Sport Business Department invites you to join LeBow’s SMT 320: Sport Economics course with special guest speaker Malik Rose ’96, vice president of basketball operations, National Basketball Association (NBA).

SMT 320 Course Description

An introduction to the economics of sports. Topics include sports markets: demand, supply and pricing; organization, monopoly power and market failure; labor relations, labor market problems and remedies, public finance of sports, the law and economics of sports, and the economics of college sports.

This guest lecture is presented by the LeBow College of Business and Drexel University Athletics, and it will be hosted and moderated by Joel Maxcy, PhD, professor and department head of Sport Business and General Business.
