LeBow undergraduate students are invited to learn about the Howley Finance Academy — a highly selective program designed to prepare students for careers at top firms in private equity, investment banking and private markets.

Launched in 2025 through the generosity of W. Nicholas Howley ’75 and The Howley Foundation, the Howley Finance Academy equips participants to stand out in co-op, internship and full-time roles through custom coursework, specialized programming and engagement with industry professionals and alumni. Students accepted into the Academy join a cohort-based experience that extends through graduation.

This session will highlight how the Academy prepares students to excel — from strengthening quantitative and market knowledge to applying those skills through coursework, modules, experiential learning and industry engagement. Students will hear insights from LeBow faculty as well as alumni who are working in private equity and investment banking.

Eligibility Requirements for the Howley Finance Academy:

  • Sophomore standing
  • Major in finance (students from other majors may be considered)
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to careers in investment banking, private equity or other private markets

Students on co-op who are unable to attend the session in person are encouraged to register and email Diana Jones (dej36@drexel.edu) to request a virtual link.
