Jilan Liu Awarded Institute for Supply Management Scholarship

Jilan Liu, a LeBow student majoring in operations and supply chain management, was recently awarded the Harvey P. Sommerer Memorial Scholarship Award by the Institute for Supply Management-Philadelphia Chapter (ISM-Philadelphia).

The award is given to a student pursuing a supply management or related undergraduate or graduate degree. Jilan, who will be honored at ISM’s regular dinner meeting on June 12, intends to pursue a graduate degree in supply chain management and cites this scholarship as an inspiration to continue her hard work.

“I am very honored to receive this award,” Jilan says. “It is very meaningful to me because it proves my ability. It pushes me to keep doing better and reminds me that the learning never ends in supply chain and other areas.”
