Two LeBow College of Business alums, AmyLynn Flood '01 and Steve Ward '03, have been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal's list of 40 Under 40.

Flood holds a master's in taxation from LeBow College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She is a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Global Human Resource Services Group, where she works in the Total Compensation practice. Her focus is on executive compensation and its related tax issues.

She has co-authored articles addressing employee benefit issues for the Journal of Employee Benefits and Oil, Gas and Energy Quarterly, and has been quoted by CFO.com on compensation matters. She also serves as the community service champion for PricewaterhouseCoopers' Philadelphia office. In that role, she has helped coordinate community service efforts at the Murphy Recreation Center in South Philadelphia, the city's PAL, and Philabundance.

Ward is CEO of Master Matchmakers, a matchmaking service with more than 3,500 clients across the country, and host of VH1 shows “Tough Love” and “Tough Love Couples.” He describes himself as a “love coach, dating guide and relationship expert” and a “serial entrepreneur.”

Ward has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Glamour, People, OK! and US Weekly magazines, and has appeared on “Good Morning America,” “The Today Show,” “Rachel Ray,” “Entertainment Tonight,” “Access Hollywood,” “EXTRA” and Fox News. In 2009, Ward co-authored a book with his mom JoAnn, chairman and founder of Master Matchmaker's, titled “Crash Course in Love.” The book was published by Pocket Books, a division of Simon and Shuster.

Last spring, Ward MC'ed the Moyer Foundation's fundraising auction at Citizens Bank Park to raise funds for the largest network of bereavement camps around the country.

Watch for LeBow College's next issue of Market Street magazine, which will feature an article about Ward and his latest accomplishments. If you are not currently on LeBow's mailing list but would like to receive a copy of the magazine, please update your contact information with us.
