Program Options

The Accelerated Full-Time MBA can be completed in as little as 12 months or up to 18 months to accommodate schedules, career paths and academic goals. Students choose from the following options:

  • 12 Months: This is the most accelerated program with a rigorous course schedule and is ideal for individuals with previous experience in industry related to their career goals.
  • 15 Months: An accelerated program that also allows students to complete one summer internship, the 15-month MBA is a good option for those looking to add more experience to their résumé or are considering a career change.
  • 18 Months: With a focus on career and professional development, this is the most immersive MBA option, allowing students to complete one summer internship during the 18-month program.

Course Highlights Include
DLE 5001: Managing the Firm: Core Business Functions

This course serves as the gateway to the MBA program, immersing students in the fundamentals of business through a dynamic, simulation-based learning environment using a business simulation platform. Students work in teams to develop a team charter and formulate a working understanding of core business functions — including marketing, finance, operations and strategy — and how these functions interrelate within a competitive marketplace. Through iterative decision-making, team collaboration and performance analysis, students gain hands-on experience managing a firm. The course emphasizes systems thinking, data-driven decision-making and the development of foundational business acumen required for success in subsequent MBA coursework.

DLE 6500: Building the Business Case: From Problem to Pitch

This experiential, team-based course serves as a keystone in the MBA curriculum. Students integrate knowledge from accounting, finance, marketing, analytics, and operations to address complex business problems. Working from a broad problem space, teams define and analyze problems and refine solutions through structured modules and faculty coaching to apply cross-functional business knowledge, develop decision-making skills under uncertainty, and demonstrate readiness for complex managerial challenges. The course culminates in a formal pitch to external stakeholders.

DLE 7500: Decision-Making in Complex Organizations

This capstone course represents the culmination of the MBA experience, challenging students to integrate and apply advanced business knowledge in a highly competitive, simulation-driven environment using a business simulation platform. Students assume executive leadership roles, making high-stakes decisions across all functional areas while navigating market dynamics, competitive pressures and long-term strategic trade-offs. The course emphasizes strategic thinking, financial sophistication, risk management, innovation and organizational alignment. Students are expected to demonstrate mastery of cross-functional integration, develop sustainable competitive advantage and articulate a coherent strategic vision supported by rigorous analysis.

MBA Degree Concentrations

MBA concentrations give you the flexibility to tailor your degree to your interests and career goals while building deeper expertise in a specific area of business. Our STEM-designated MBA concentrations allow students with F-1 visas to apply for a 24-month Optional Practical Training (OPT) extension, beyond the standard 12 months, if they meet the eligibility criteria.
