Finding a Co-op

Now that you're ready to select your co-op, it's important to stay informed and prepare for this exciting experiential learning opportunity.

Step One: Prepare Your Résumé

Before you can apply for jobs, you must create at least one résumé online through Drexel.SCDConline. Your coordinator will critique your résumé during your Pre-Registration meeting. After accessing Drexel.SCDConline and selecting up to 25 jobs, you determine which version of your résumé to submit.

Step Two: Ask Questions

What kind of job do you want? Where would you like to work — in the city, or somewhere farther away that will require alternate forms of transportation? During the research phase, think about the hours you'll be available to work. Research LeBow's top co-op employers and consider historic weekly salary information. More importantly, consider the job responsibilities you want to add to your résumé. You can search the SCDC website for jobs, stratified by  title, company/industry or region.

Useful Tips:

  • Use several different job search methods
