Drexel LeBow’s BSBA in Business Law:
Business law coursework combines legal theory with practical application. Through case-based analysis, applied problem-solving and experiential learning, you’ll develop the legal reasoning and critical thinking skills needed to evaluate risk, interpret laws and make informed business decisions.
Core concepts include contract formation and enforcement, tort liability, employment relationships, real estate transactions, intellectual property protection, data privacy regulation, international business law and white-collar crime.

Through the Drexel Co-op program, students alternate classroom learning with full-time professional experience through University-approved employers. With plans of study that allow for up to three co-ops, you can gain as much as 18 months of practical experience while building professional networks, developing career clarity and applying classroom knowledge in real-world settings.

Our students have done their LeBow co-ops in a variety of organizations, both locally and around the world.
Co-op is just one way to gain real-world experience at LeBow. Many students also expand their experience through consulting courses, case competitions, research projects, international residencies, industry events, alumni mentorship and other hands-on learning opportunities.
Many of these opportunities are made possible through the Dana and David Dornsife Office for Experiential Learning, where students work on real and simulated projects with industry partners. Partners have included organizations such as Unilever, the Philadelphia 76ers, Boeing, PwC, and nonprofit and governmental agencies.
Drexel gives you the hands-on experience, but most people don’t realize that, more importantly, it helps you acclimate to being a professional so after graduation you’ll have the skills to network and take on big responsibilities in the work place.

No. While the business law major provides an excellent academic foundation for law school, many students pursue careers directly after graduation. The program prepares graduates for roles in business, compliance, consulting, human resources, risk management, real estate and other fields where understanding legal and regulatory issues is valuable.
