The Management Department considers vibrant, mutual collaboration with industry executives a vital part of our mission.
Our advisory council of industry partners supports the development of the department’s academic programs, helps students’ career success and exchanges knowledge with the management faculty.
The primary objective of the council is to help the department foster the next generation of leadership, equipped to navigate the challenges and uncertainties brought about by rapid societal and technological changes. While these changes may ebb and flow, core management knowledge, particularly in terms of strategy and leadership, remains the bedrock that withstands the test of time. Beyond the theoretical insights imparted by our faculty, council members contribute invaluable practical wisdom and experience to our students. Council members engage in a variety of activities tailored to their availability and preferences. These include delivering guest lectures in management classes, participating in events focused on student career development, collaborating with faculty on research and teaching initiatives, among others.
Together we endeavor to equip emerging leaders with critical and visionary thinking, team and interpersonal skills, and adaptability and resilience. These leaders not only drive exceptional economic performance, but also uphold high standards of humanity and social responsibility.
